Tom Leach was able to catch the light from the Earth reflecting back from the darkside of the moon in this shot taken from Harwich with a Schmidt-Newtonian f/4 scope and some fast film.
CCAS member Chris Cook got this amazing 3 1/2 hour time exposure of the eclipse 02/20/08.
Tom Leach created this montage from photos taken of the February 20, 2008 eclipse from his dome in Harwich. It includes a shot of Saturn which was close aboard that evening.

Funny how photo does not match Starry Night program set for the same moment. How come?

None the less for wear,
CCAS member Dan Burbank
on Shuttle Discovery Sept 21, 2006.
The last time he spoke to us
he talked for more than an hour,
rattling off numbers and figures
left and right. It was probably
the best talk we'd ever had.
He had been at Woods Hole earlier in
the week for a training program, so
NASA keeps them pretty busy.
On his first mission he brought a
CCAS arm patch with him up to the ISS,
and presented it to the group the night
of his talk. It was pretty cool. One of
our members is working on framing it,
so that we can have it hang
in the observatory.

John Lowry Dobson a highly influential amateur astronomer
who is another guest memebr of the Cape Cod
Astronomy Club visiting regualrly from California.
He is most well known in astronomy circles
because his name is attached to the popular Dobsonian
telescope design. He is credited for
inventing the design, which is used by a large
number of amateur astronomers. He is lesser known
for his efforts to promote awareness of astronomy
through sidewalk astronomy. Photo credit Jim Carlson, CCAS
